What can I expect the first time I visit Little Common Dental

You can either call or visit us to book an appointment. Your first appointment will normally be half an hour for a new patient examination or one hour if referred for a specialist consultation.

At this appointment the dentist will first check your medical history, so please bring a copy of any medication that you are taking with you.

Once you feel comfortable, the dentist will make a full assessment of all the teeth that you have present, along with any fillings, as well as your gums and general health of your mouth, checking for any abnormalities.

If necessary x-rays are taken. Once the x-rays have been checked the Dentist will write a treatment plan, which he/she will discuss with you.

The treatment plan lists any treatment that you may require along with the cost.

It will be your decision as to whether you proceed with the proposed treatment.

Referred patients will be returned to their referring dentist, once treatment is complete.
